This past season, both of my boys—ages 3 and 5—played T-ball/baseball with i9 Sports The Woodlands, and it quickly became one of our favorite family experiences. From learning the basics of the game to building confidence and friendships, i9 Sports created a positive, welcoming environment that worked beautifully for our family.
A Season That Felt Personal
One of the things that made this season extra special was that my husband served as the lead coach for our 3-year-old’s T-ball team. Our youngest got to play alongside many of his school friends, which made every Saturday morning something he genuinely looked forward to.
He also assistant coached our 5-year-old’s team, giving us a front-row seat to watch how kids at different ages learn the game, grow in confidence, and begin to understand teamwork.

A Schedule That Works for Families
Games were held on Saturday mornings and included both a practice and a game. Having everything on one day and in one place cut down on car travel and made youth sports much easier for our family to fit into our weekend.
- ✔ No weekday practices
- ✔ Less car travel
- ✔ Easier to plan family weekends

Learning the Basics Without Pressure
Throughout the season, the boys learned foundational baseball skills like keeping their eye on the ball, taking turns, and working together as a team. The focus wasn’t just on playing the game—it was about effort, encouragement, and creating a positive first sports experience.
