December 12, 2024

Under the inspired leadership of new co-owners Sam Robins and Chad Kneller, USA Ninja Challenge The Woodlandsis redefining fitness for kids and teens in the community. Their shared vision for a gym that builds strength, confidence, and resilience while fostering community spirit makes this ninja gym a standout destination for families in The Woodlands and surrounding areas.

Sam Robins: A Legacy of Leadership and Fitness

With an impressive background as a retired Green Beret and over 24 years of military service, Sam Robins brings unparalleled experience in discipline, strength, and perseverance. Fitness has always been a central part of his life, from his collegiate athletic career to his time in Special Forces, where elite training shaped his journey.

Together with his wife of 28 years, a former fitness competitor and trainer, Sam has instilled a love of health and wellness in their four children, all active athletes. For Sam, owning USA Ninja Challenge is about much more than business—it’s about creating opportunities for kids to thrive.

“Our passion is helping kids build strength and confidence while fostering a love for fitness,” says Sam. “We’re committed to serving our community with integrity and giving back to local schools, organizations, and churches through donation programs.”

Sam’s favorite gym feature is the rope climb, a nod to his days in Special Forces. “It’s the ultimate test of strength and determination,” he shares. When not at the gym, Sam is often found cheering on his kids at sports events, spending time with family, or volunteering through his church.

Chad Kneller: Passionate About Family and Fitness

For Chad Kneller, fitness is a lifelong journey. A former wrestler and military veteran with 12 years of service, Chad’s dedication to health and wellness continues as a father of three and co-owner of USA Ninja Challenge.

Chad’s youngest son, an aspiring ninja warrior, inspired him to invest in the gym, which has become a place where Chad’s passion for fitness and family merges perfectly.

“My ‘why’ is simple: to positively impact the physical and mental well-being of kids and teens,” Chad explains. “I’m thrilled to help kids build confidence and skills while serving over 500 families in The Woodlands area.”

Chad’s favorite obstacle is the warped wall, where he enjoys watching kids conquer fears and achieve new heights. Outside of the gym, Chad loves supporting his children’s unique interests, from art to ministry, and cherishing time with his family.
