A Lone Star Christmas Parade in Montgomery, Texas

Saddle up, wear your boots and western gear and come out to the Christmas Parade on Dec. 12

The Montgomery, Texas Annual Christmas Parade is the highlight of the year! The City of Montgomery and The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce have pulled out all the stops to give families and kids a day of holiday cheer, memories, and Christmas fun. This year, the theme is "A Lone Star Christmas", so bring your Texas flags, boots, and holiday spirit out on December 12, 2020. 


Christmas Parade, 9 a.m. 
The Montgomery, Texas Annual Christmas Parade will begin at 9 a.m. in Historic Downtown Montgomery and will feature floats decorated by local business owners and community members.

Holiday Market, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
Support small business and shop local with home decor, food & wine, jewelry, gifts and lots more vendors at the Holiday Market. Will be located at the Old Community Center on Liberty Street.

Annual Cookie Walk, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. while supplies last 
A Montgomery, Texas family favorite! Stop by the Community Center to grab cookies by the pound to share or keep for yourself. All cookie purchases will be conducted with safety and community health in mind, and guests will be required to wear masks and gloves while selecting their items. Servers will be masked and gloved as well.

42nd Annual Candlelight Tour, 4 - 8 p.m.

End your day of fun with a tour of beautiful historic homes. Tickets can be purchased for $15 (adults) and $5 (kids) at the Nat Hart Davis Museum or the Rustic Cashmere shop after 2 p.m. 


Holidays, History, and Family Fun... The Montgomery, Texas Christmas Parade and Market will be a memorable day for everyone.
