**CASTING CALL - Event Photographers for Montgomery, TX**
CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS! The City of Montgomery, the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, and Macaroni Kid Montgomery are inviting local photographers to submit their images for consideration to be added as a preferred vendor for city-wide events, meetings, and performances. Using these guidelines, submit your photos to admin@montgomeryareachamber.com.
Photographers in the Montgomery, Texas area must be available for the Annual Christmas Parade event in Historic Downtown Montgomery on December 12, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and must independently provide all equipment and materials needed to participate. Photos of the event will be submitted and reviewed for consideration, and qualified applicants will be added to the list of preferred vendors for future events.

General Guidelines
We are looking for professionals who can deliver photos with the following qualities:
- Faces and smiles: Photos must be close-up shots of kids, moms, and families smiling and looking directly at the camera. No candid shots, photos of crowds, or people looking down or away from the camera.
- Parade Photos: We need excellent PARADE PHOTOS! Submit at least 3 possible photos of a parade float and passengers. Follow the instructions above for crowd-photos. Do your best to submit close-up, clear and uncrowded photos of the floats and passengers.
- Make it as Christmas-y and Montgomery-specific as possible with a backdrop that creates a clear message and captures the heart of the event.
- Families and kids: As stated above, this is a family event. You may take as many photos as you wish, but please try to focus on happy, smiling families with children. It's a family event, so we want to make sure that is clear in the photos.
- Vendors: You may take photos of vendors, city or chamber representatives, and decorations
- Lighting: Please be conscious of the available light and adjust accordingly to present crisp, clear images. Dark, dull, or flawed photography without adequate light will not be considered.
- No filters, watermarks, logos or other insignia on your photography. Credit will be added and given on all web, printed, and social media platforms.
